SeaPlanner Supports the World's Largest Floating Offshore Wind Farm

In November 2021, Cobra Wind started using SeaRoc Group's (now Ascertra-SeaRoc Limited's) flagship SeaPlanner Marine Management System at their Kincardine floating offshore wind farm.

Kincardine, the world's largest floating offshore wind farm, is using SeaPlanner to manage offshore operations, coordinate personnel, and ensure overall safety and efficiency for the project duration. This is implemented through the use of the Inductions module, Personnel Certification Management, Marine Operations, Permits / RAMS / Transfer of Control, and an AIS feed, to provide the best possible service for wind farm operations and maintenance activities.

The wind farm is located 15 km off the coast of Aberdeen, Scotland, and is comprised of five 9.5 MW Vestas turbines.
