SeaPlanner Announces Launch of Full-Service Permit to Work Solution

SeaPlanner, the industry's leading Offshore Management System, has expanded its solution for managing Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Work Permits for offshore wind projects, with the launch of a full-service package that includes Permit Controller personnel.

The new offering is provided as a collaboration between SeaPlanner and a number of reputable industry partners as part of its Strategic Alliance Program that offers full Marine Coordination services for offshore wind clients. These partners are Marine Coordination Services, Specialist Marine Consultants (SMC) and EMS Maritime Offshore.

The service will initially be available across Europe, however it will be rolled out in Asia and the US as the markets in those regions develop.

SeaPlanner Permit to Work provides a fast and efficient user-driven process for the submission, review, approval and issue of all permits. Consisting of 3 main functions—Risk Assessment/Method Statement (RAMS), Permits, and Transfer of Control (ToC)—the system is an integral solution to the smooth running of the project and control over contractor work on offshore assets.
