The Norwegian Transparency Act

The Norwegian Transparency Act is a law that large Norwegian companies and their subsidiaries in any country must adhere to. The Act promotes enterprises' respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in connection with producing goods and providing services. 

Any person has the right to request information from an enterprise regarding how the company addresses actual and potential adverse impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions that they have either caused, contributed toward, or that are directly linked to the company's operations, products, or services via the supply chain or business partners.
