Coreworx Project Information Control (PIC)

Active Support (AS) for Coreworx Project Information Control (PIC) 8.2 and all prior versions will reach end of life on April 30, 20261.
Ascertra is ending maintenance and support for Coreworx PIC to reduce burden from aging technology and to reduce risk associated with limitations on 3rd party software support, including Microsoft end of life for Windows Server 2016. Ascertra is focusing its investments on Proarc, the industry-leading Engineering Document Management System (EDMS). Ascertra is also prioritizing investment in the Proarc cloud offering, Proarc Online, so that technology obsolescence and upgrades will no longer be a concern for customers.
What does this mean for you?
Ascertra recommends migration to Proarc Online. We understand your organization may be faced with barriers to migration, so we are prepared to assist you with the transition. Your account representative will contact you to discuss your solution timeline in relation to EDMS initiatives and to bring options and experiences based on transitions with other customers.
Extended Support Option
Coreworx PIC 8.2 customers with maintenance and support can optionally subscribe to Extended Support (ES) for an additional period of up to 12 months. When this period expires on April 30, 2027, Coreworx PIC 8.2 will reach end of life.

Proarc Online Platform
The Proarc Online platform ensures reliability, security, and performance by leveraging the following:
- Mature, secure, and scalable online services & applications
- Enterprise-grade hardware, network, and storage
- Infrastructure services for performance optimization, monitoring, disaster recovery, and security against attacks
- Detailed audit logging, policy governance, and workflow-driven compliance to processes
- ISO 27001 certified Proarc Online application
- Cloud Service Provider (CSP), Microsoft Azure, with the largest compliance portfolio, including ISO 27001, SOC2, and CSA Star
