Ascertra-SeaRoc Limited is pleased to announce the successful completion of the first specialist Marine Coordination training for Japanese personnel.
Two members of the Hokutaku team attended an intensive 5-day course, split between SMC's Hunmanby training centre and SeaRoc's (now Ascertra-SeaRoc Limited's) offices in Chichester, making them the first trained Marine Coordinators in Japan.
The team was given a solid grounding in the techniques and practices of Marine Coordination along with detailed training on the market-leading SeaPlanner Marine Management System.

This international initiative is the first in a series of courses planned under the management of Ascertra-SeaRoc Limited's Consultancy team, a topic that Neil Pittam, SeaRoc's Head of Consultancy, will cover in a series of seminars in Asia being conducted in the week of 17th September in conjunction with Tokyo Marine Insurance and Class NK.
