Each year, the Proarc User Group Conference brings together the Proarc User Association—a global community of Proarc experts—and the Ascertra Proarc team to innovate and develop a progressive vision for project information management, with Proarc EDMS as the centerpiece. This year, the Proarc User Group Conference 2025 was held on April 24th and 25th in Kristiansand, Norway, an idyllic setting on the North Sea, where industry leaders and Ascertra product leaders shared their solutions and experiences.
Highlights from day one include a session by QHSES Manager Merete Haagensen Hauge, who presented Moss Maritime's journey of transitioning to Proarc Online. She gave insight to the implementation quality procedures with Proarc's workflows and repositories, and shared their progress on integrating Microsoft Copilot and Power BI with Proarc.

Ascertra summarized the past year's key events, including integrated acquisitions of Propeople and SeaPlanner, and a cloud-first approach to investments. The Ascertra product team then presented the Proarc roadmap and strategy, with great response from the user community to discuss alignment and future requirements for Proarc.
Participants then gathered into topical roundtable sessions on artificial intelligence, Microsoft 365 integration, insights and analytics, and integration strategies. The exchange of ideas included improvements to information quality, efficiency gains from automation, and insights to trends and risk from Proarc data.
Day two kicked off with Kristiansand Dyrepark—Norway’s world-renowned zoo and amusement park—appearing as a guest speaker to provide some fun and a behind-the-scenes peek at the park's activities.
The Ascertra Proarc team demonstrated Proarc's new features in practise, followed by a fireside chat on how Proarc supports an integrated application ecosystem for the future of project information governance, including scenarios for planners, engineers, and constructors.
To wrap up, the Proarc User Association committee celebrated 10 years of contributions from Jens Stabo-Eeg, and welcomed Jim Smits as their newest committee member.
We would like to thank everyone from the Proarc User Association for attending the Proarc User Conference 2025, and for their continued support in improving Proarc EDMS software.
