Houston, Texas (February 7, 2023): Ascertra is happy to announce that a major global engineering firm chose Coreworx Interface Connect to manage project interfaces during the engineering, procurement, and construction of an ethane cracker that will be part of a major city development in Qatar.
The new implementation of Coreworx Interface Connect launched in early February and is being used during EPC phases to enable the management of interfaces between four primary EPCs and numerous external third parties with Client oversight. Implementation of the solution included a bulk import of over 300 interfaces identified during FEED. The team will be managing both internal and external interfaces with the system.
"Our solution was recommended to this new customer by one of their colleagues who used Coreworx Interface Connect to successfully manage interfaces on a large project in Oman. It's always a great sign that you're designing useful solutions when customers refer you to their colleagues!" said Matt McKinley, CEO at Ascertra.
All capital engineering and construction projects involve complex interface dependencies between contracting parties. These interfaces can cause challenges that may disrupt or interrupt successful project execution. Coreworx Interface Connect software helps project teams overcome those challenges through a pre-configured, web-based solution that supports direct and formalized communication between contractors.
