NSP Maritime Link Inc. (NSPML), a subsidiary of Emera Inc., selected Coreworx as the document and information control solution for the Maritime Link Transmission Project between Newfoundland, Labrador, and Nova Scotia.

The project team will use Coreworx Interface Management, Document Control, and deliverables management software to manage, track, and report on the project’s document needs. This includes official documentation on engineering, environment, permitting, and all other project-specific information.

NSPML will design, engineer, construct, and commission the Maritime Link, a new 500 MW, +/-200 to 250kV high voltage direct current (HVDC) electrical interconnection between the island of Newfoundland to Nova Scotia and the North American transmission grid.

"The Maritime Link is a significant new energy project for Atlantic Canada", says  Coreworx CEO. "With NSPML's adoption of Coreworx Interface Management and project Information management solutions, it further strengthens our reputation as a leading information management and project collaboration solution provider for energy-related capital projects".
